Princess Shelby Kate

Our sweet girl, Shelby Kate, turned 3 years old in July. She is our princess! We celebrated her birthday on a hot summer evening at the park. Lots of friends and family joined us. She and her guests had a great time.

The Three S's

Where does all the time go?? I've got some catching up to do.
So get ready for some updates!

End of School Year

School finally ended two weeks ago. Will is officially a first grader! How crazy does that sound to say our little boy Will be starting first grade in less than two months. WOW!! We are so excited to watch him grow and are amazed by his talent and abilities. He had a great first year of school. He is reading at a level 24, which is considered second grade reading. We're so proud to call him ours!

Graduating Kindergarten
Will received the "High 5 Award" from his teacher!

Some students from the 8th grade delivered this stuffed owl to Will on his last day of school. On the previous day, the K classes visited the middle school for a water bottle rocket show. One of the rockets went a little crazy while in the air, and it landed right on Will's back. OUCH! Just a little bruising, but he was fine. Everyone at school was very concerned and felt really badly for what had happened. The teacher that conducted the show called to check on him. After a little TLC, he was in good shape!

It's Sports Time!
Will is doing very well at sports. Soccer season ended in May and t-ball started in June. Will was so excited to have his Nana and Papa come watch him play.
Go Red Rockets!

T-ball is off to a great start. This is Will's first time playing t-ball. He enjoys it, and we love watching him play. His two cousins, Kennedy and Katie, are also on the team. It's going to be a fun season.

Go Blue Jays!

Momma's and Daddy's All-Star!

And the Summer Fun Begins!
On June 3, Blake and I celebrated 11 years of marriage! Where has all the time gone? Here are some pictures taken that evening at my niece's high school graduation. Talk about going back in time! Kyla would have been Shelby's age when I graduated from that very same high school.

Will is 6 Years Old

My nickname is Bubba. I am kind, sweet, and always full of love. I am 42.5 inches and I weigh 38 pounds. I just completed kindergarten. I love to read. My current reading level is equivalent to a second grader. I am super smart! My mom says I take after my dad! I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I like to meet new friends and play at the park. I play soccer for BYSA (Blugrass Youth Soccer Association) and t-ball for our local recreation department, the Blue Jays! When I grow up I want to be an architect or a police officer. I enjoy building with Legos. The largest item I have ever constructed was a firetruck, which was more than 500 pieces. I like playing video games, and my favorite game is Mario Brothers. I like sleeping with my stuffed animals, Fuzzy and Manny. I never sleep without blue bunky. My favorite foods are pizza, and Chick-fil-a chicken nuggets. My favorite restaurants are Chick-fil-a and Fazoli's. My favorite ice cream flavor is rainbow sherbert. I do not like to eat sweets, but I will eat Starbursts and candy suckers!

Jesus Paid It All

I hear the Savior say,
"Thy strength indeed is small,
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all."

Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow

Lord, now indeed I find
Thy power and Thine alone
Can change the leper's spots
And melt the heart of stone

And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete
Jesus died my soul to save
My lips shall still repeat

Oh, praise the one who paid my debt
And raised this life up from the dead

Happy Easter!
